You get what you get and you won't throw a fit!

SO.........I’m a bit OVERWHELMED with the blogging ALREADY! There is SO much I want to share and so many pictures I’d like to post; however, I haven’t the TIME! This blog will have no direction, no format, and no organization to it at ALL what so ever, while it is being built! I’ll try to keep you posted on what I am doing, helpful hints, and what I am educating myself about at the present time. I can see where it is going to need editing often as I think up new bits of information about each subject. I can already see that my post on Little Mary Moo needs to have more information about what her purpose is here on the farm. In her post she needs to have pictures of the WONDERFUL milk, butter, and cheese in which she will provide to us. After her blog, there needs to be a blog on making butter and cheese. The butter blog needs to include all the ways we have tried to make butter and the most cost efficient way that we have found to do it. And rations for the cow should also be included with cost analysis so a profit loss table can be included. THIS cow will have the cost of NEXIUM figured into her money savings budget, as my husband says the milk REALLY helps him stay OFF the PURPLE PILL, which he had ALWAYS taken for about seven years prior to our living food program! :O)

No time to cry!

My daughter, bless her heart, came up with the BEST way to make our eyes STOP watering while we were chopping onions for salsa and ketchup this year. Our kitchen will NEVER be without this handy utensil!!!

I'm starting me a BLOG!

FARM INTRODUCTIONS

OK, I can already see that I DON’T have time for this! Ha Ha
But, I’d like to document things for myself, and others that are trying to move toward a more sufficient way of life. I’m NOT going to say simpler or easier, way of life; because I DON’T want to give anyone the WRONG idea of what being self sufficient is REALLY like! What I have noticed in my FIRST year of becoming more sufficient is the need for a STRICT schedule and DRASTIC cutbacks!!! In my first blog post, I’d like to introduce to you our little farm, what we currently have and what we are working towards. I have been working hard in my first year, have accomplished much, and am absolutely proud of it!
Hope you enjoy……………
